Bill Wray was well known scout on local sports scene (Hamilton Mountain News)

If you were a pretty good hockey or baseball player in the Hamilton area in the past 60 years you were probably scouted by Bill "Red" Wray. A fixture at many area local parks and arenas over the years, Mr. Wray died June 18, six days after he was admitted to hospital with abdominal pains. He was 78.
