Highmark Caring Place to Honor Central Pennsylvania Volunteers Who Committed Over 5,000 Hours to Grieving Children (PR Newswire via Yahoo! Finance)

The Highmark Caring Place will recognize 175 volunteers at a dinner event tomorrow evening at the West Shore Country Club. These individuals have collectively volunteered more than 5,000 hours -- an average of nearly 30 hours each during the past year -- in support of grieving children, adolescents and their families at the Caring Place facility at 3 Walnut Street in Lemoyne.

Motorists warned of traffic delays as cyclists wheel through midstate (The Patriot-News)

Look for lots of spandex and some brief road closings as the Tour of Pennsylvania pedals through the midstate today and Thursday. About 120 cyclists, ages 24 and younger, are participating in the 450-mile, six-leg race that began Monday in Philadelphia and will end Sunday in Pittsburgh.
